Bunny Rag Doll with Clothes || PDF Sewing Pattern

I can’t possibly choose a “cutest thing I’ve ever made”, but if I had to, this bunny rag doll would come close. I’m in love!

I wanted to add a bunny to the Phoebe Rag Doll collection of sewing patterns and since Easter is coming up, there was no time like the present. Sew up some soft bunny dolls with changeable clothes for your little ones’ Easter baskets this year!

You can purchase this easy to sew bunny doll PDF sewing pattern in my shop, along with the other Phoebe rag doll babies and animals. You can also purchase it in my Etsy shop if you prefer :)

Because for little ones, the clothes are the fun part, I designed new clothes for this new animal rag doll. The little romper can be made with a ruffled strap or a more manly (haha) straight strap. The romper, like all the other clothes in the collection, will fit all of the rag dolls and animals. So you can sew up a bunny and purchase the other patterns to make your bunny some friends, and a complete wardrobe. So cute! And don’t forget to add a sleeping bag to top it all off.

This time around I sewed the dolls in linen fabrics and I love how they turned out! Since linen is a thicker fabric on its own, I omitted the flannel interlining that I recommend for this pattern when sewing with lighter weight cotton. I also used wool felt for the inner ears, which makes them stand up perfectly! And, wool felt is just so dreamy, I love the texture it adds to these bunny ears. I buy these packs of wool felt, so I always have many nice colors on hand.

As usual, the bunnies have the sweetest embroidered faces. The pattern doesn’t include embroidery instructions, but you can watch the video walkthrough of the baby rag doll if you need to. The video includes a complete walkthrough of every step of the pattern, including the embroidery and how to sew around those tighter curves.

I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I did making it! I could make nothing but rag dolls forever and be totally happy. Haha, just kidding, I would miss sewing clothes for sure ;)

If you make this pattern, I would love to see! Shoot me an email or tag me on Instagram @pincutsew.

Cheers!
